That's probably a question that nobody here can answer with any certainty... 'Ivan' would have left the factory with a pair of big 6 volt batteries hooked in series. I've seen more than one that had the battery box relocated and one large 12V like an 8D thrown in for good measure. Given that the electrics on that thing wern't much more advanced than a model T, just about any upgrade ~could~ have been made to cause it to function since it left the factory...
If it hasn't yet been changed over, I would suggest that you do change it over to one large 12V or a pair of Gr31's in parallel and 2/0 cables. That should make it work respectably.
