Update: The new dishwasher doesn't dry near as well as the old ten year old one. Apparently the manufacturer (Whirlpool) cut the drying time to save energy.
The new refrigerator is a Maytag double door with the freezer in the bottom, and ice and water taps in the outside of one of the doors. The water tap froze somewhere in the innards of the unit and no water comes out. (It worked for the first week). So far, the tech who does warranty work has been in touch with the factory and no one knows how to fix it.
The good news is, my wife bought both units on her own so she can't complain to me.
