True enough; hence my enquiry. Subject to European Commission approval, Landini is planning to buy the Case-IH tractor plant in Doncaster, England which CNH Global (the merged Case-New Holland business) is required to sell to meet EU antitrust concerns. Landini will also get the Case-IH 'CX' and 'MX-C' models which it will sell under the McCormick name. The tractors will still be available as Case-IH models outside Europe. Would the McCormick name mean much to US farmers these days, other than a vintage title from way back when?
