I have a 39 "A" that has round spokes in the back. I always wondered for years if it came like that from the factory. It is a early 39 and I bought a book years back of pictures taken by John Deere with old black and white test photos. There were a couple with the styled hood and factory round spokes and solid wheels up front just like my tractor. Later one i went to a show in Tennessee and found a tractor just like mine. the serial numbers were close. Also seen one up in New York and the serial number was also real close. So I'm guessing that some of the early ones may have snuck out with round spokes. have any thoughts on it?
