Assuming your son has insurance just turn it in to his insurance company. They will adjust the loss and settle up with the Farm Bureau on his behalf. The Farm Bureau people won't jerk his insurance company around like they might try to do to your son, they know all the tricks and will call them on it. Your sons insurance company will probably be more inclined to give him a fair settlement too since, in the end, the money isn't coming out of their account, its gonna come from Farm Bureau. This won't be a mark against your son either, he wasnt 'at fault'. This is one benefit of having insurance, take advantage of it.
