You might check your local highway dept. shop. A couple years ago I was in our's and they had a 55 gal. barrel full of worn cross bars, the shop foreman said help yourself. They really go thru them and replace them often, he said. I picked out about 2 dozen and made a set for my 8N. Sure they're worn but I haven't broke any yet. And the price was right.
