Our local club had it's annual run this weekend and what a turn out!Was 40 tractors in the parade, saw the largest antique tractor I ever saw in person,it was an AC D21,what a big brute!Weights around 12 000 lbs,has 125 hp,really wide tires. The owner said the person he bought it from said they paid 12 000 for it new in 1965,I'm 9 years younger than it but know that must have been a heck of alot of money back in 65.We boiled corn, barbequed hot dogs and drank pop till we almost burst lol.Was some live singing, fiddeling and guitar as well.Would have posted pics but only have dial up here.Helped set up yesterday for a few hours and clean up today after, got to drive a farmall 300,super c,oliver 66 and sat on 25 of just about everything else being towed onto the lawn. There was a small engine display,a couple of 2 hp's a 12 which didn't start today and a 4 from the 20's.A guy came from Nova Scotia with an old shingle mill and put on a demonstration for us as well.We left home at 20 after 8 this morning with the massey and didn't get home till half past 6 lol.Drove an hour and 20 min each way, even had breakfast at Tim Horton's on the way.
