so far, 14 people have died in the dallas/fort worth area and 10 in the san antonio area of the flu... about half of those were sick or weak with other problems,, the other half were "healthy" before contracting the flu.
And thats in the last 6 months in the areas that I know about. I would guess if you rural and stay away from people, you less likly to be involved.
as to previous vaccines, if you have any kind of alergy to chicken or eggs, your a dead duck... as the vacine was grown in eggs... So those who have servere reactions to eggs usually went into shock and died...
but thats why they ask you about eggs and chickens before you take the shot.
same is true of those who died from penicillin.. as there are some who are very alergic to it.. but its save far more than its killed.
It looks like we losing about one person a week here in dallas and close to that back home in san antonio. and thats without the vaccine.
