Advisable to flush trans with kero?

Is this a good parctice or not? Plan to add 10 or 20% kerosene to my very old trans oil before draining to flush out stuff.

Or is this just asking for problems like putting crude back into circulation to foul the bearings?
Maybe better to let the crud lay?
