it"s a 1948 C and i thougth it was positive ground the 6 volt battery was hooked up that way. i put a new battery in and it discharged overnight i charged it up and when it turns over it discharges all the way. is it possible someone changed it to negative ground it has a generator and regulator it may have discharged because the regulator is stuck?? i had a M 30 years ago and i changed it to 12 volt this C is all original, so i would like to keep it that way thanks jim
