I just love my 99 Dakota Sport, v6, Air, cd 4wd, auto, nice truck for running errands or what have you. For real trucks I have a 2000 f2504wd diesel,(which tail gate handle also broke on) and a 1989 rv3500,4wd chevy with a 9' dump rack. Today I went to open the tailgate on the Dakota to put a bale of hay in the back, and wouldent you know it, the handle snapped right off! ITS PLASTIC, who would use plastic handles on something you use every day?.. I never realized it was so cheap befor, until it broke off..... I would think something like a tailgate handle would be made out of metal. Well its a trip to the junk yard for me.j
