hello,my brother has a 1966 M600 bobcat with a wisconsin V4 air cooled engine.He had the starter in and out of the skid steer a few times.The starter when tested out of the machine and on the ground seems to work fine.The solinoid kicks out the drive gear and spins nice and fast.The gear on the engine looks fine,no broken teeth,and i did turn the engine just to make sure the teeth are ok.It sounds like the starter is working fine but not catching the starter gear on the engine. Any ideas??? thanks
