Most every one was in corn here today but staying on the hills. After the 5" of rain last part of last week the beans were still a little too chewy and bottom ground was pretty soft. My little corn and bean crop are coming along nice, almost ready. The problem is I have to hire a neighbor to custom harvest it. I have 4 that will do it for me, but not till they are done. Around here I am going to say a third of the corn is done and about 25% of beans are out. Most years all corn and most beans are done by the end of October and weather guessers are give'n us 90% chance of rain tonight and 70% tomarrow.
