First car I got to steer while it was on the road on Dad's knee was his 79 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royal with a 350 4bbl.First car in my own name was my grandfather's old Oldsmobile Delta 88 with a 403 4bbl.My favorite at the time car was my old 89 Z24,maroon with a 2.8L 5 speed with the z24 cowl induction hood which was actually functional.It made a few monte carlo's look silly,except the SS's,could give them a good run,but once you put it in 4th gear,was such a big gear jump,you may as well hit the brakes lol.The first 3 gears were pretty good for a 128 hp bucket lol.
