Don't even try to find a replacement dog yet, you will "stumble" across the right dog when the time is right. We have two, a 3 year old female boxer and a just turned year old husky/shepherd male mix.
The boxer is an inside and outside dog, the husky is outside only. Last Monday we found out my wife is allergic to all animals, but we will just keep the boxer bathed and won't get rid of the cat or horses either. DOUG
