Actually, the Jubilee/NAA does NOT use oil from the rear end for the hydraulics. (unless the seals are leaking!) There are 4 fill ports, 4 drains, 2 level plugs and 2 dipsticks on that tractor - engine, transmission, hydraulics, and differential. Engine oil depends on the operating environment and engine condition. All my tractors, including my Jubilee, get 15w40 diesel rated oil, year-round. Current recomendations from NH is to use NH 134D hydraulic oil (or equivalant) in the transmission, hydraulics, and rear end, as the seals between those compartments often leak. My Jubilee has been running 134 in all three compartments for more than 10 years with no problems.
