My tires are 16.9x30, and a local fellow has 18.4x30 chains up for grabs. Can I just cinch up the extra width with some springs stretching across the wheels? He's asking about the same price as TireChainsdotCom is asking, minus the shipping to Canada. Thanks for your thoughts
