Here in southern MN, haven't seen more than an hour of sun in the past 3 weeks. Seriously.
Temp been beteween 45 & 25 the whole time, 2 days have poked up near 60.
Pretty much rain every other day. Anyhow in a 5 day period, we have always had at least 2 days of rain. Not really heavy rain, but a few 10th to almost an inch.
Corn is hovering at 30% moisture. I've heard a few found a field at 23-25%, but as many still have 36% corn.
Beans I've heard got as low as 15%, most were getting 17% or so beans.
There is far more crop left in the field than is harvested. I took out corn end rows is all. Some have not started yet. Some got 1/2 way or so, but it is a terrible wet crop & not very profitable at these moisture levels.
Big rain/snow event should come through 2nd half of this coming week. Should rain this evening into Monday morning.
November can be nice in a rare year. Often snow comes & stays somewhere in Nov. We've had a blizzard the last day of Oct that never melted away until spring.....
