Hi T_Bone. Its true, geese are excellent weeders, at least most domestic breeds. They are used commercially in strawberrys, potatoes, they like crabgrass and the like mostly at least until the strawberrys or the tomatos get red, then they like the ripe stuff better than anything else, so you have to remove the geese before things get ripe. You have to have water in the rows of produce and some shade if its real hot, but they will eat grass and weeds all night long and they fertilize at the same time. :-)
