I've had Dish for nigh on 4 years now and can't really complain. Yes it does come in and out during severe storms but usually is very good. If it does go out I just see that as a sign I don't need to be watching t.v. anyhow. DSL is much better than dialup and is probably going to be your cheapest, best option if available through landline phone company. Sometimes the cell phone company broadband cards can be hyped up a bit much. I would look at those as a last ditch effort, however it is a viable option.
