I think first thought is how much am going to use tractor if not much would go with gas if a lot disiel would operate much cheaper If small acreage I would conssider narrow frontend easier to get in tight places my first was 44 massey nf when i bought more land ibought a1030 case with widefront and diseil wide front was nice on hilly terrain and for feeding round bales diesil is cheaper to run long time but don,t like putting fuel in can and carrying it
