Yes, the Starter Drive is the same as a starter Bendix. I would be wary of buying a foreign made drive and get a genuine Delco part from a starter/generator shop. While you have it apart,check the bushings and brushes, and smear a little bit of grease in the bushings when you put it back together. Getting the retaining ring off isn't as bad as putting it back, there is a special tool to put it over the end of the armature, but you can use a small socket to push it on.
