Very Impresssive pictures and engine repair. I spent 25 years around IH Hough 100 loaders in the logging and lumber industry. I believe the early H100 had the same engine (817 CID) during the late 1960's and the early 1970's except with the possibility of injection pump upgrades and bigger crankshaft journals. If memory serves me correctly, these pieces of equipment required keeping a spare crankshaft around. I may have various manuals on your 4300. I always believed that IH made better construction equipment than Cat during those years. We are farmers in central California. Ray Medley
