In defence of Old Fashioned Farmer I concider any magazine more than a couple of years old to be old lol.About 10 years ago I came across an August 85 edition of the Holstein Journal that happened to have the sale results of a farm called Hanoverhill Holsteins who had one of their infamous dispersals.It happened to be the one where a cow they had named Charity ended up bringing $1 450 000.00.Hanoverhill kept a half intrest in her and a herd named Romandale bought the other half.The guy who owned Romandale just happened to be the same guy who started and owned Dennison Mines,the than worlds largest uranium mine,still in opperation as far as I know.That cow was supreme champion at World Dairy Expo in Madison 5 times,and Grand at the Royal in Torono 4 or 5 as well.They used to call her "Incredible Perfection".
