i agree with jiff on the delco-remy. you think you have problems now, think of having to split the tractor to replace the flywheel ringgear because it was damaged from the starter gear. you never know, the catalogue part may be a delco or better. but i would check with the local rebuilder anyway. if you build a relationship with these guys they might get you out of a bind one day, or snowey night.
