I have had both knees replaced about five years apart. First one was done the old big cut way and used the constant motion machine. Used a cane and did all of the rehab movements. I was back milking in four weeks. This doc moved his pactice out of state so second one was done by a whiz-bang young surgeon. Little cut w/ new type knee and get up and walk with no constant motion machine. Had to go to a tharapist. That was H===. Leg never got back. I do not have the pain but just cannot get around. First leg carries all of the load. I have always wished I had been able to go to the first old doc for the second. Last doc got asked to leave the hospital,Just make sure you know what the doc is going to do and check with some of his patients. gitrib
