Well, just for a little balance... You've heard about the Mayan Calendar Stone, that only runs up to Dec sometime 2012, that's supposed to mark the point of some cyclical catastrophic Earth changes... Well, I can accept the ancients had some advanced knowledge, or at least different knowledge, moving those huge boulders around and notching them together like they were cheese instead of hard rock... And they did have that "temple" that looks just like one of our observatories, their stonework complete to the rim that on ours houses the wheels for the rotating dome...curious... So I can accept their conclusion, based on their mathematical, astronomical and engineering knowledge, that the world, as we know it, will end December something 2012, but: How in the world could they have known Sarah Palin would be elected in Nov 2012??????

Today's Featured Article - Madison's County - by Anthony West. Philip Madison has been a good friend of mine for quite some time.
