We just bought a 2003 Escape V-6. 42000 miles on it. Paid $11K out the door for a local dealer. Good little rig for around town and short trips. I would go claustrophobic in it on day long drives. Good power for its size. Fair fuel economy. Tows a SMALL trailer (2000#) well. I would not try anything much bigger. You feel the small trailer back there. Noisiest vechicle (road noise)I have ever owned. Almost no noise insulation in the back.I put sound deadening all over the rear section and it helped a lot.
