You made the point perfectly. People don't have to be stuck in the same job all their lives, you weren't. Many jobs are entry level or part time for teenagers. They aren't meant for someone to be able to raise a family. People have a responsibility to get themselves educated in order to move up the ladder. If they don't, they live with the consequences. It's not my fault that guy dropped out of high school. Nor is it my fault that someone's parents didn't instill a good work ethic in them. This is the long term problem created by welfare. Generations of people think someone else will take care of them, that they don't need to get educated or learn a trade.
