Roy,,, I caught two skunks in my live trap, the first one I just put a small old blanket over the trap, they will not spray cause they can't see anything to spray, I took the trap and put it in my pond and I simply drowned the skunk.
the second one, I go up to the trap on the door side where the skunk can't see me, and slid in a small piece of hamberger with some good strong goofer poison, or the like on the hamberger.
in a few days, the skunk was dead. simple as that.
