Here in Nebraska, their prices on gasoline are usually a few cents per gallon less than the competition. I spend a lot of time on the road on the job, almost every small town has one, the chow is good and I know I can trust it. I can eat their food and know I won't get a gut ache ten miles down the road.
Like someone else said, the local manager makes the difference. I noticed one particular store never had any food ready except pizza. The clerk said they never had call for anything else. I emailed Corporate, identified the store, described the problem, and asked how they could sell what they didn't have out.
The next time I stopped at that store at mealtime, they had the usual variety and people were buying it.
One of our local stores that has booths also has a coffee group of mostly elderly farmers that meets there. They call themselves the "CAVE" group. (Citizens Against Virtually Everything).
Contrary to other posts, Casey's is my stop of choice, particularly when I'm on the road.
