TSC has something called "Power Plus" which is an extension of a factory warranty and is either a 1-2 year or a 3-4 year plan. I don't remember if it applies to the batteries or not but if it does get it. We sell Exide now and there good( a guy bought two for a IH 5488 today to replace two continentals) and there is a $10 core exchange for the old ones. If you get the power plus, it allows a free exchange for the same or similar battery after the factory has expired. My 2 cents. Alex
