The kit sold on this site does not come with a coil but it does come with a 12v to 6v resistor so you can use your old 6v coil.
If you would rather just use a true 12v coil you can get one from NAPA for $18.69 part # IC14SB.
The bad part about buying parts over the internet is you get no warrenty. Even if they say it has a warrenty it cost more to ship the part back than it is worth.
If you are interested in buying just the brackets from this site and buying all the other parts local come over to the Ford section of this site and ask your question again. We can go into more detail there because that board moves a lot slower.
