From my experience...You'll get as much done with a back blade for a fraction of the cost. Add in new chains and you are still waaay below the cost of a snow blower. The blade has a lot of uses during the summer that the blower doesn't.

Today's Featured Article - Oliver 550 Purchaser Checklist - by Greg Sheppard. Pound for pound the 550 is better than anything I've seen.
