I sure don't want to rub it in to anybody who's not done,but I finished up just about sundown. Filled the cribs and had to pile 35 loads on the ground,but it's out of the field and I'm parking the picker! Rolled up about 200 bales of stalks and chopped enough to fill the top of the barn for bedding for the calves. Sure been a LONG frustrating year of hurry up and wait. Seems like everything that we've done this year,we had about a 2 week window then sat on our duffs for a month waiting out the weather. Don't know when I've been so relieved to be done at the end of the year. SURE didn't expect to be done before December,but made it with about 7 hours to spare!
