I have a IH industeral tractor . when taking eng apart for overhaul found #1cycpush rods bent and connecting rod bent. It had 2quarts of water in pan. Isupposethe water caused the problem. The tractor has a lever to shift forward and reverse but you have to engage the clutch to put it in the gear you want it before using the foward and reverse lever. The year of the tractor is 1956 my guestion is when putting tractor in that mode I have to hold clutch in for about a 40 or 60 seconds is that the nature of this tractor or what could cause this ? Thanks
