This morning I followed my usual routine, check the cows, checked the waterer, started the loader tractor and went to open the gate, I always step over the electric fence in the same place, there is a big rock that I always plant my foot on. Well it snowed a little last night and my foot slipped off the rock, at the same time I was hanging onto a steel fence post. You got it "ZAP" not once but twice before I got enough jump in my step to clear the fence and land on my back in the cow pies! So far the shocked areas all seem to work fine , but holy cow , hope I never get tazed on a tractor ride. Moral of the story, I guess I will unplug the fence from now on.:>)
