Our old Farmalls did well in sub zero temps, but our old 53 international pickup got a lot of use in winter, always started in an unheated shed. And had a cab. Poor Pu lasted 30 years under those conditions year after year. No engine work that I knew of. But the cows got feed. A WD45 with a grapple hook, also got a lot of use in winter.
