identification of trackor

I've just purchased what I was told was a Ford 8N. I am trying to find out what year it is. The book I have said to look on the left side of the engine block for serial numbers, I have not been able to find any serial #. The only numbers I can find are EAE 6015-F with 44J.2 under that number both are upside. All the pictures that I've seen of 8N show the air cleaner and carburetor on the right side of the engine block is trackor they are on the left as I'm sitting in the seat. Thanks for any help. foster
