, and thank all that responded to my guestion, bought my frist 3/4t 4x4 dodge 360 in 87, esperance at the best 10-5mpg but fuel wasn't 3.00, 2nd was a 96, would do the 13-11 if you baby, but not uncomon for me too pull trailer over 6 ton if I pushed the 87 hard lest than the 5, the 96 lest than 7, but the power was there, bought a Desiel in 04, 17-11 was better, desiel was considerbly cheaper then, no one hardly stocked the larger gas trucks in my area, I wiil agree with mark about the present ecommic of the desiel-gas debate. if I was going down the interstate 50k miles per year desiel might be worth the extra. I was having a hard time getting milage data from the dealer, but was sure It had improved since 96, I do thank oldoloverlover and marlowe for answsering my question from that real experance.
