Boy! I'm with ya on the sensors. I've used them for so many years that I can't use anything else. Those old single coils kinda have that "edgy" tone to 'em.
That thin pickup is actually 6 individual pickups that drive my synth. Don't use it a whole lot, as it is like harmony; a little taste sure goes a long way.
But, I will use the sax, piano, organ and the strings on occassion.
If this thing hangs together as I hope, I'll run off a tune so you can hear the synthesizer working.
