Jon and Bob, Thanks for your information again. I WILL connect the #2 wire to the batt. terminal on the back of the alternator. I will also put a 200Ma light bulb in the circuit on the #1 wire. You see I have a hole on the "dash" where the other guys had put in a toggle switch, as they thought the switch did not work. Since the hole is there I might as well make use of it. I will put a bulb holder in the hole and hook it up. I might as well use a diode in the circuit too while I am at it. It will give me something to do this weekend. Bill P.S. Thanks not only to Jon and Bob, but to all those who took time to write. I really do appricate every response, as it is helping be to overcome this ignorance thing I seem to have on tractors.
