It IS high speed at times for certain uses. If you want to download a big file, once it gets going, it's usually lighting fast. Seems when focused at one target it does well. But for other things, like Web-browsing, it's pretty slow. And for uploading, often slower then dial-up. Many times I've downloaded big files faster then I could on some DSL connections.
