Ron If that steep grade really needs mowing, and if it's possible, try going straight up and down the hill. This will reduce you chances of a rollover. Of course your ground speed will need to be low, but with a rotary mower you can still have the needed RPM's to mow. Like the others have stated mowing 40 is not wise, hay it, pasture it, tons of other possiblities. I myself, have a hill that has a 7% grade on it, with a pond on the top of it. The only reason it get cut is because it keeps the wife happy when she looks out the back window. Well, that's my two cent worth, just be safe!! Sam
