Well I guess I had high hopes for the suburban.Its a 1988 Silverado 20 3/4 ton 2wd with fuel injected 454. Rating on the hitch is 9500 witch I could maybe upgrade to something heavier,but the towing rate on truck is 8600 lbs. I like the passenger space of the suburban thats why I bought it.Might just have to make a few trips to get everything moved.Going to try to attend 4 or 5 events which will make it a lot of road time.I guess I'll start looking for something in a 1 ton range with 5 th wheel set up.Just was trying to keep the cost down. Looks like I'll build a 10,000 pound trailer .Thanks for all the replies.
