A stuck clutch allmost took my life... My dad had a H-G Oliver tractor that the clutch stuck on.... It was in the barn... I started it in second gear ... I was going to drive it out of the barn and up the hill... When I came out of the barn I had to make a sharp right turn.... The tractor would not turn that sharp... There was a big bank on the left side that went strait up... The tractor started to go up the bank... I reached for the switch...I could not find it... We have three H-G tractors with the switch mounted in different places.... The tractor climbed right up that big hill about 14 feet before I found the switch... I fell off the seat backwards ...Landed on my feet running...I did not stop to look back... Lucky me the tractor stayed on top of that hill.. We hooked a chain to the tractor and pulled it back to earth...You would have to have seen it to beleve a tractor could climb a bank that steap... I would not be one to drive into a tree... No way ...not me...It could flip before you would know what happend...
