Had the same problem with my MF 240 last year. Ended up costing me $900. at the MF dealer to rebuild the steering shaft. There was a clamp cage part in there that held 28 ball bearing around the steering wheel shaft . It was broken and cost about $400 for this part. The dealer had to read the factory book paragraph by paragraph to restall this part correctly. Works great now. Maybe you don"t have the same problem .
