WOW, Bills club spent 100,000.00$. Id say that would have gone a long way for the Childrens Home benefit show! Is your club operating as a non-profit?I personally have been paid for going to shows, pulls, parades and school visits.I would not ever, ever, ever pay anyone to show.It would be an insult.I would expect free passes for the family and free parking at least.I believe in spectator admission fees.I dont believe in overcharging for admissions. And I will not be back if they are overcharged. The two clubs I am in are non profit and any money they have left over is donated to different charities.Of course money is needed for club supplies and show sites are donated or shown at members farms, yards, ect. The show commitee should not bite the hand that feeds them and charge for showing.Uh lets see 100 grand? 25 grand to the Orphanage,25 to the Fire department,25 grand for scholarships and 25 grand for the church.MAN Id still have money left over! Use your money for perserving the antiques history and telling and showing young people why there are tractor/engine clubs. The one with the most in the end DOESNT win. Ill debate if you wish..............Deano Bill...look up Foothills Tractor club on the Web
