Ray is correct in paying attention to getting a battery that is built for a tractor or equipment application. The first battery in my new Kubota diesel lasted five years. When I went to replace it, the dealer said that the battery that's supposed to be in that machine would run me $90. Well, I didn't want to play that game, so I got a comparable amperage battery from an auto parts store for 45$, and it went one season. Repeated that, and the other went 1-1/2 seasons. I went back to the dealer, and felt him out about this problem, and he told me the internal vibration support built into the correct battery for my tractor is why it's so pricey. I got the correct one, and I'm still using it after four seasons. So, which battery has the most dollar value? Cheapest is not bestest.
