I've been running an informal "who's battery last the longest" test on my place. I've NOT tried any Optima batterys, but of the several other brands i've bought, Inerstate has easily out lasted the others. When i need a new batt., i measure the batt. tray, and buy the biggest batt. that will squeze in. If the area is on the small side, and i can, modify the batt. tray i do so and put the biggest batt. available in that piece of equipment. I did this on my Kubota, and the Interstate car batt. in it now, is at least 7 years old! One last note, i no longer buy 4D or 8D batteries, i just try to buy the Interstate 950 CCA, and put it in place of them. Robert
